Watching Art by Ronit Galazan

So why is art important? There’s no easy answer to that. Art exists in so many forms and can impact who we are, why we think the way we do and even what we consider to be beautiful. I think art completes the soul. We have people in our lives that we could not live without. For some it could be religion. But for me it’s art in its many forms. Paintings, music, movies, and literature just to name a few. I love getting lost in a good book, altering my mood by listening to a piece of music or getting drawn into a great movie. The importance of art is everywhere.

When I create I try to focus on going beyond what I thought I can do. Pushing myself to see farther, be more creative and do better than the last painting. It’s a never ending process of learning. It’s wonderful and frustrating at the same time.

I have yet to meet anyone that art doesn’t affect. I’ve been lucky enough to have customers who can afford my work, but there have been times when I’ve lost a sale because my work has been out of someone’s price range. This is why I’ve expanded my business to include prints. I want everyone to enjoy work that speaks to them at prices that fit in their budget.

Look through my store, see what inspires you and let me know!
